In May 2025, the UN Global Compact Network Egypt participated in the One Global Compact Forum, a landmark gathering held in Cape Town, South Africa, to mark the 25th anniversary of the UN Global Compact. The event convened more than 120 leaders from over 58 United Nations Global Compact Country Networks, along with representatives from UNGC headquarters and regional hubs, for a week of strategic dialogue, collaboration, and shared vision.

In May 2025, the UN Global Compact Network Egypt delivered the Sustain 360 Workshop – Beginner Round during the 15th Edition of the Egypt CSR and Sustainability Forum, one of the country’s leading gatherings of sustainability advocates, business leaders, and changemakers.
This dedicated training module, part of the Sustain 360 program, was designed to introduce emerging professionals and young leaders to the fundamentals of sustainability and responsible business. The workshop provided participants with essential knowledge on how to integrate the UN Global Compact Ten Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into corporate strategies and daily operations.

In March 2025, the UN Global Compact Network Egypt hosted its Annual Suhoor, bringing together participants and stakeholders from across the Network for an evening of connection and celebration during the holy month of Ramadan. Held on the 11th of March at the Sofitel Gezira Hotel, the event took place in a chic, luxurious venue overlooking the Nile, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere for meaningful engagement.

In February 2025, the UN Global Compact Network Egypt launched the first round of the Gen-Green Initiative, a pioneering program dedicated to empowering Egypt’s youth to become active participants in advancing sustainability. Designed in collaboration with Université Française d'Égypte (UFE), the initiative aimed to foster a deep understanding of sustainability principles and inspire students to lead the transition to a greener and more equitable future.
